Warragul is the largest town in Baw Baw Shire and is an ideal shopping location with a wide range of stores, eateries and entertainment options. Enjoy an afternoon of shopping with some great boutique stores to rival those in Melbourne and indulge in some homemade delicacies while enjoying some of the best coffee around at one of the many cafes.

Warragul is a great base to head out and explore some of the wineries in Baw Baw Shire with cellar doors and winery restaurants open most days of the week. Sample some award winning wines and pick up some local produce as you meander around.

Warragul is also home to the West Gippsland Arts Centre which hosts world renowned performers from music stars and international ballet companies to famous comedians and nationally recognised plays and shows.

Warragul has some of the best parks and gardens in Baw Baw Shire with plenty of wide open spaces for relaxation or recreation at all times of the year. Two of Baw Baw’s markets are held at Civic Park in Warragul. The Warragul Farmers Market runs on the third Saturday of the month and the Baw Baw Arts Market runs during the warmer months on the same weekend.
