The Ada Tree
The Ada Tree is one of the biggest living things in the world at about 76 metres high and 15.7 metres girth at shoulder height. The Island Creek Rainforest Walk meanders its way towards a viewing platform at the Ada Tree through cool rainforest with groves of ancient myrtle beech, sassafras and soft treefern.

Distance:SHORT   3.2km (1.5 hours) return
Car Parking: Available at Ada Tree Reserve.
Toilets: Available at Ada Tree Reserve.
Directions: To get to the Ada Tree from Noojee, follow the Yarra Junction - Noojee Road and turn at Big Creek Road (unsealed). The trail begins at the carpark.
Accessibility: An alternative trail suitable for wheelchairs is available by prior arrangement with DEPI Powelltown on 03 5965 9901.
