The Great Walhalla Alpine Trail

Mount Baw Baw – Walhalla The Australian Alps Walking Track is a 680km walking track that winds its way from Walhalla to Canberra through the high country of Victoria, NSW and the ACT. With the Great Walhalla Alpine Trail, you can take a fully guided and catered walk for the first 40km of the Australian Alps Walk from Mt Baw Baw to the township of Walhalla. Held over two days and three nights, walkers will stay overnight at Mt Baw Baw before setting off on the first day. The second night is spent in tents at a fully prepared camp site and the final night is spent at Walhalla’s Star Hotel on journey’s end. The Great Walhalla Alpine Trails takes in beautiful scenery from majestic forests to alpine heathlands and much more. Bookings for this walk are essential and they run from October to April.
