Evie’s Cafe is a 100% gluten free cafe, specialising in delicious gluten free moist cakes, cakelettes and slices that are made on site. Coeliacs, gluten intolerant, FODMAP, Diabetic, Vegan, Vegetarian and meat lovers can dine with the full knowledge that they are receiving friendly, country hospitality in an all gluten free environment.
Customers can select from a very good selection of coffees, including Evie’s fresh ground House Roast, and Roast-Of-The Month (fresh roasted to perfection by Southern Addictions Coffee of Trafalgar – Master Roasters). Decafs and boutique-style flavoured decaf, hot chocolate, Tea-4-One are available on selected teas.
The use of locally grown and sourced quality meats, fresh produce, herbs and spices have resulted in great flavours and textures for light meals, cakes/slices, selected desserts and takeaways. NO artificial colourings, preservatives or additives are used. Vibrant fresh flavours are also present in cold refreshments – health juices, smoothies, and milkshakes.
Lactose free and dairy free options are also available. Come and check out Evie’s new arrivals of Dairy Free (heavenly) chocolate treats – made locally using quality ingredients; and, the fantastic flavours of Jamaican rubs, sauces and Plantains (chippies).
Come and check out Evie’s famous baked beans, individual vegan quiches & vegetable quiches, arancinis, orange cake, profiteroles & chocolate eclairs – all home-made and sourced using local quality ingredients. Evie’s Savoury Pies, Pasties & Rolls are made to Evie’s special requirements by Master Baker.
Customers are welcome to browse the shelves of products on sale and ask the friendly Evie’s Cafe staff about product origins and their makers. Some in-house taste testing is available on selected items.
